DATA PROTECTION (GDPR) — BASIC INFORMATION

Purpose: Management, planning, organization and communication of registrations for the activities of the Barcelona 2026 World Capital of Architecture programme, including attendee management, capacity control and communications related to the activities.
Categories of data subjects: Natural persons participating in the programme activities.
Category of personal data: First name and last name, contact details (email address, telephone) and, where applicable, image.
Legal basis: Consent of the data subject when completing the form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Recipients: Third-party processors for the provision of services linked to the organization of the activities, as well as public administrations when necessary due to a legal obligation.
Retention: For the time necessary to manage the activities and, afterwards, for the applicable legal periods or until consent is withdrawn.
Rights: You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to lopd@miesbcn.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT).
