ShowPass demonstrates the advantages in comfort, health, and energy savings of passive houses, applying its strategies in a typically Mediterranean home. Energiehaus designed this renovation based on the Enerphit-Plus rehabilitation standard, achieved CO₂-neutral certification, and generates most of the energy needed for the daily consumption of a family of four.
This series of visits offers an up-close look at a notable example of contemporary architecture where wood plays a central role in design, structure, and its relationship with the surroundings.
During the guided tour, participants will learn about the architectural and construction decisions that made wood a key element of the project, as well as its benefits in terms of sustainability, comfort, efficiency, and spatial quality. The visit provides both a technical and accessible perspective on how this traditional material is reinterpreted in contemporary architecture to address today’s environmental and urban challenges.
