Biennal of thought in the House of Architecture
The 2026 Biennial proposes reflecting on the here and now - that is, on the present and on cities - at an intersection intended as an invitation to turn the urban square into a shared public space. In doing so, it seeks to address the questions that run through this edition’s programme: how can we foster solidarity in the face of the pressures of neoliberalism?; what tools can enable the city to become a bastion of democratic resistance against authoritarianism?; how can we develop practices that improve the material and symbolic conditions of our lives in the city?
